Each of the 41 islands in Lake Titicaca is more intriguing then the last. There are a few man made ones and others that have Inca ruins on them. White Water Rafting

There is a reason why people travel from all over the world to participate in white water rafting in Peru. The mighty Amazon and amazing canyons offer some of the best rapids on the planet. Different level tours will offer you different rapids depending on your experience. Do not attempt a high level rapid if you are not extremely experienced and do not lie to your tour guide as you can put other people's safety at risk.
Machu Picchu

Few people come to Peru without taking a tour of Machu Picchu, the “Lost City” of the Inca empire. Perfectly polished buildings, prisons and tombs holding skeleton remains awaits you here in this amazing find perched high in the Andes Mountains. You can arrive here by hiking the Inca Trail which is roughly a 27 to 35 mile walk or you can take a train to the mountain and about a 30 minute bus ride up the mountain to the ruins. Climb Up The El Misti Volcano

This is for the hardcore adventurer looking for a challenge. This is a technical climb but very rewarding. Equipment is not needed but during some seasons it can have ice and snow so you may want to have an ax and crampons. El Misti tops out at 19,100 feet so enjoy the view.
Surfing

Chicama beach in Peru is home to the longest wave in the world. The beaches in Peru turn out some world class waves. A few beaches offer smaller waves for the beginner and have surf lessons available. Other beaches are only for the skilled surfer and locals can tell you where the best waves are at anytime of the day.
Plane Ride Over The Nazca Desert
The lines drawn in the Nazca desert are one of the biggest draws to Peru. The lines were drawn using an iron oxide coated pebble that is found in the desert. They are believed to be either a calender of some sort or made due to religious beliefs. Plane rides in Ica are offered to fly over the Nazca desert to view these lines.
Tour The Amazon Jungle

An expedition through the Amazon Jungle is sure to leave you fulfilled. This is one of Peru and the world's top attractions. The plant and animal life is overwhelming so do not forget your camera. You can even schedule a boat ride down the Amazon river leaving out of Iquitos.
Shopping in The Pisac market

Peru is the best market for handcrafted items in the country. Hundreds of booths are there selling everything from musical instruments to clothing to jewelry. Sunday is the best day to go here but there is quite a lot of traffic on Tuesdays and Thursdays as well.
Dancing

You may not think of dancing when you think of Peru but you won't visit Peru without dancing! There are “discos” that play reggae, rock, meringue and salsa or bars that offer waltzes or creole music. Every city has its preferred places to go but if you really want to enjoy the nightlife head on over to Lima and find the party!
